Refunds & Cancellation

This is a first draft written to build the required protections into the product. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney and will be before ZARA takes paying customers.
Cancel any time
Cancel in Settings → Billing (two clicks) or tell ZARA “cancel my subscription”. She confirms once and does it; she will not argue. We may show one optional offer, with a plain “No thanks, cancel” button beside it. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period, we show you the end date, and we email a confirmation. You keep access until then and are not charged again.
Renewal reminders
We send an annual renewal reminder, a trial-ending reminder, and advance notice of any price change.
Refunds
Monthly plans: cancel any time; no partial refund for the month already paid, and you keep access until it ends.
Annual plans (pay 11 months, get 12): if you cancel within 14 days of the first annual payment, we refund it in full. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal; the year already paid is not refunded pro rata, and you keep access to the end of it. [Attorney to finalize the refund window.]
Carrier usage (calls and SMS) is passed through at cost and is not refundable once used. ZARA Site: you own your content and can export it when you cancel.
Upgrade to ZARA: your Business Stellar plan ends and unused days are credited.
