Terms of Service

This is a first draft written to build the required protections into the product. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney and will be before ZARA takes paying customers.

Who can use ZARA

ZARA is for businesses. You must be 18 or older and authorized to act for your business. It is not for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.

What ZARA is

ZARA is an artificial intelligence. She can be wrong. Her output (including site reads, findings, quotes and messages) is not legal, financial, tax or medical advice, and you are responsible for reviewing what she does on your behalf. See AI disclosure.

Subscriptions and renewal

Before you are charged you will see the final price, billing period, renewal terms and how to cancel, and you must tick a separate box agreeing to automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel online in Settings → Billing, or by telling ZARA. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period. See Refunds & Cancellation. Prices are on Pricing. While the Pricing page shows a “Test mode” notice, no real money is charged.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Indemnity

You will cover claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your content, to the extent the law allows.

Disputes

Governing law: Colorado, USA. Disputes are resolved by individual binding arbitration rather than in court, and class actions are waived, except where the law does not allow that (for example some consumer and small-claims rights). [Attorney to finalize arbitration provider, opt-out window and venue.]

Changes

If we make a material change we will update the version above and ask you to accept it again.
